Poster presentation on TRA2018 in Vienna, jointly with Maris Andins and Remigijs Pocs
This study has been made to understand the impact of charge level on rail infrastructure usage with primarily freight transportation. It provides identification of the basic concepts used in the European legal framework and gives insights into railway infrastructure usage and railway economical features, including competitiveness dimension and financing issues.
The paper provides the “market can bear test” methodology that may be used for assessment of mark-up level based on efficient, transparent and non-discriminatory principles.
The study was produced by the expert focus interview method.
